We need to clarify if Roxy is stranguric - frequently attempting to urinate little or no urine - as might be seen with a urinary tract infection or, instead, is forming large volumes of urine and needs to void her over-filled bladder often or is urinary incontinent due to over-filling which is seen subsequent to increased water intake. Increased thirst is seen secondary to urinary tract infection involving the kidneys, pyometra (infected uterus) in an unspayed dog, both renal and hepatic insufficiencies, diabetes mellitus and Cushing's disease (an important differential in doxis), electrolyte (sodium, potassium, calcium) imbalances, and other but rarer metabolic disorders. How would you clarify her "peeing constantly", please?
