Odansetron (Zofran) can safely be given to dogs at a dose of 0.2 - 0.5 mg/lb and repeated in 8-12 hours. The difficulty you might face is that anything given orally might come back up in a vomiting dog. A 14 year old doesn't have the reserve that a much younger dog has and so if vomiting persists, Onyx is going to dehydrate and become eelctrolyte imbalanced requiring a visit back to her vet for supplemental fluid therapy and injectable antiemetic and antacid therapy. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

I'm just following up on our conversation about Onyx. How is everything going?
