I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Such a history suggests shampoo or another grooming product entering the eyes and chemically burning the corneas or a hypersensitivity reaction to a chemical used on Presslee. Washing the eyes out with saline and dosing with Benadryl was reasonable but Presslee's eyes need to be evaluated by her vet at your earliest convenience. Presslee's corneas need to be stained with fluoroscein and visualized under a black light to see if a chemical burn, abrasion, and/or ulcers are present. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
