I might dose your dog at 2 mg/lb or 120 mg of Proin when addressing certain urinary conditions. Please don't be alarmed. You might see transient vomiting, anorexia, restlessness, anxiety, irritability, urine retention, or tachycardia (fast heart rate) but you didn't harm him. The serum half-life is just 3-4 hours and so it would be unusual for any of those symptoms to persist for more than 8 hours. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
