Customer Question

My 5 lb yorkie has been falling over a lot (I thought it could be due to his luxating patella's) and started losing bowel control last night. He is very listless and is having trouble holding his head up. He is 13 years old.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

How long has he had these signs?

Does he fall to one side more often?

Does he have a head tilt, circling in one direction, or seem to have a wobbly walk (like a drunk sailior)?

Does he seem to loose consciousness at all when he falls?

Are his stools normal or loose?
