Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

How much does Wolly weigh?

Expert:  Dr. B. replied 1 year ago.

Hi again,

Now if this is Willy that is 6kg, I would note that we haven't any major worries here. This is a drug with a wide dog safety margin. Now Willy has had a 0.8mg/kg dose, but we don't tend to see adverse signs until they are dosing at a level of >1 mg/kg. So, if anything we would see some agitation but would not expect anything more. Therefore, you need only monitor him and keep him calm over the next 12-24 hours.

I hope this information is helpful.

If you need any additional information, do not hesitate to ask!

All the best,

Dr. B.
