3% hydrogen peroxide dosed at 5ml (one measuring teaspoon) per 5 pounds of body weight - 10 ml/2 measuring teaspoons for a 10 lb dog. This is easiest done with a small poultry baster placed between the cheek teeth and cheek. A dog should vomit within 15 minutes. If not, the same dose can be given. There are instances when inducing emesis is contraindicated such as when caustic substances have been ingested or the ingestion was too long ago. Please tell me why you want to induce emesis.
