I'm Dr. Jo and I'm here to help with your question about your schnauzer. I'm so sorry she isn't doing well, but glad you're looking for the information you need.

I'm worried these are very serious symptoms and they certainly do warrant a visit to the emergency center, even though it is expensive. Collapsing while walking can be associated with some very serious symptoms and potentially even life-threatening problems.

I wish I had better news for you, but this is a serious situation.

To help me help you better, please answer the following questions:

  • Have you had her since she was a puppy?
  • Does she have a history of any prior illnesses or injuries?
  • Does she take any medication?
  • Is her breathing labored?
  • Are her gums pink?
  • Any vomiting or diarrhea?

Just type in what you want to say then click REPLY or SEND.

Thank you.
