Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

Actually, while Denosyl (with S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe)) is great for livers; I would note that you may want to speak to your vet about using Denamarin (More Info) instead. This is made by the same people that make Denosyl and contains SAMe as well as and silybin (the active ingredient in milk thistle that is liver protective). So, this would be the easiest and most pet friendly way of using both liver supplements in a single product. Otherwise, there are a range of milk thistle products on the market for dogs and any would be safe to use at the same time as the Denosyl. Finally, you may also want to offer omega 3+6 fish oils and Vitamin E, as their anti-oxidant nature can also be of benefit to the liver.

I hope this information is helpful.

All the best,
