I have a dog who is 8 1/2 golden retriever. He started having seizures last sunday. He has had 10 seizures as of right now. 3 as in less than 17 hrs should I bring him to the emergency vets

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. It was an urgent question and so I hope you did contact and bring your dog to the veterinary ER. Yes, when more than one seizure occurs within a 24 hour period, "clustering" has occurred. Clustering often presages status epilepticus - the state in which seizures don't abate until I heavily sedate or anesthetize my patient. Please give me an update on your dog. If you've already had him attended to feel free to disregard my post.
