Customer Question

Not sure but 96 pound lab may have eaten 5 mg of Adderall

Adderall will cause agitation at 0.5 mg/kg and seizures or coma at 2-3 mg/kg. A 96 lb (44 kg) Gus would have ingested 44 kg/5 mg or 8.7 mg/kg. If Gus may have ingested 5 mg within the hour, then, inducing emesis with 45 ml (3 measuring tablespoons) of 3% hydrogen peroxide by means of a small poultry baster placed between his cheek teeth and cheek is indicated. He should vomit within 15 minutes. If not, the dose should be repeated. Please keep me posted.
