My 100 pound lab is passing blood in her urine, being today is Sunday I can't contact my Vet. I have a prescription for clindamycin for a much smaller dog (25 Lbs) can I give the Lab a dose of the clindamycin

Hi, I'm a licensed veterinarian and I'll be happy to help.

Clindamycin for a 100 lb dog, would need to be dosed at approximately 500 to 1000 mg every 12 hours, with the higher end of that range being preferred in most cases. It's generally not an ideal antibiotic for urinary infections in dogs.
