Thank you for your quesiton, I'm Dr. Dan and I'll try to help you.

I do think Cushing's disease is worth treating. On the surface it seems just cosmetic but many problems are happening under the surface, it affects the liver, increases blood pressure, vastly increases the chances of skin and urinary infection and predisposes him to stroke. So treating him is far more important than just simple hair changes. The drug I recommend for this condition is Trilostane (brand name is Vetoryl).
