Aspirin dosed at 10 mg/lb with food is safe and can be repeated in 12 hours if necessary. Acetaminophen is safe at 7 mg/lb and repeated in 8 hours but its efficacy is circumspect in dogs and it's not antiinflammatory. You must avoid both ibuprofen and naproxen - both of which are toxic to dogs. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
