I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. I don't see your question posted, however. If your doxi has been diagnosed with keratoconjunctivitis sicca ("dry eyes") one of two drugs - cyclosporin or tacrolimus - is usually prescribed as a drop or ointment to put in his eyes and artificial tears used until the drug kicks in to stimulate tear production. It's not unusual for secondary bacterial infection to arise in these compromised eyes; hence, the vet will also prescribe an antibiotic ophthalmic drop or ointment which might also contain a corticosteroid if inflammation is excessive.
