Good Morning and welcome! I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.
From what you have described, it appears that sweet Indigo may have a condition called Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This is related to allergies so it is treated with steroids and antibiotics. Unfortunately, these are only by prescription so it is important for Indigo to see your vet for this treatment.
For now, go to the pet store and feed a Hypoallergenic dog food such as Hill's ZD and add probiotics available at the pet store. This may help some and if it does not, save your money so Indigo can get the proper treatment. Sometimes, there is no way around this, I am sorry to say even though it can be expensive.
