What are the odds of a dog who's lost an eye, suddenly loosing sight in the other eye?

I am sorry to hear about Jinx going blind. I am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.
The odds depend on a lot of things. What caused the loss of his other eye? If it was glaucoma, then the odds of going blind in the second eye is unfortunately very high.
Other causes of sudden blindness are PRA, SARDS, and optic neuritis, which are not very common.
If he is diabetic, then he could develop a cataract and suddenly go blind.
