My St. Bernard was treated for severe Fly Strike two weeks ago. She was doing great,& healing well. Today, she has a lot of bloody discharge from the vagina. They have recommended a blood test or x-rays. I am suppose to pick one. Please advise.

I am sorry to hear about all of Zoey's problems.
Is she spayed? If not, the concern is that she has a uterus infection, called a pyometra.
If the blood tests and Xrays are to determine if she has a pyometra, then I personally would do both. If her white blood cell count is high and the Xrays show an enlarged uterus, she should have surgery as soon as possible.
If she is spayed, then this is not her problem. I might start with a blood count and looking at the discharge under a microscope, and starting her on antibiotics.
Let me know if she is spayed, and any other questions you have.
