My 3 year old healthy Wheaten just started having back leg twitching that came out of nowhere. He doesn't seem in pain but seem scared and I'm unsure how to help?

I'm concerned that you're describing tremors (myoclonus) which are described as sudden contractions of a group of muscle cells followed by immediate relaxation. These can be sporadic or repetitive but represent a clinical sign rather than a specific disease. Different patterns are characteristic of specific disorders.
