Customer Question

I have a 12 year old cattle dog mix that just had a hemangiopericytoma removed from his leg. They didn't get the margins, and recommend radiation. I think 4 weeks of this will really traumatize him.
What are the options? Would it make sense to wait for it to grow back and have it removed again?
Thanks for any help/opinions you can provide!

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
Why do you think radiation will traumatize him (since they do sedate/anesthetize them before administering the radiation)?
