HI, I'm a licensed veterinarian and I'll be happy to help.Yes, IVDD can occur anywhere along the spine, from the base of the skull all the way to the tail. When a disc in the neck or shoulder area is the problem, signs can include front leg pain, neck pain, reluctance to look up, or holding up one front leg. Pain and stiffness that seems to loosen up upon walking, sometimes suggests muscle spasms (which can be a sign of IVDD), or arthritis. X-rays would be strongly recommended, and if no arthritis is identified, then treating this as IVDD might be reasonable.

Hi Lauren,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Archie. How is everything going?
