Hello again and thanks for waiting. I have worked out an answer for you below ... 1. Good news! : In my experience as long as there was no great amount of chocolate in this candy { I assume there is not } then this should not be toxic as such to Nico so this is not going to turn into any sort of serious incident. However dogs have quite weak stomachs sometimes so you may perhaps see a mild transient bout of vomiting and /or diarrhoea due to the sudden intake of an unaccustomed rich food source but if this occurs it should pass on it's own. 2. For dog's to swallow candy wrappers is a common event and the chances are the wrapper will just pass through Nico's alimentary tract without problem. If it is a paper wrapper it will also be degraded to some degree by the stomach acids. 3. Of course you should keep a good eye on Nico anyway and if any adverse symptoms such as vomiting, lethargy, anorexia, abdominal pain or straining occur then you should contact your vet without delay. This would be very unlikely though. I hope I have covered your question fully enough but if you would like further clarification or to talk things over a bit more then I will be on-line for the next hour or so and I will be more than pleased to continue working with you. Regards, ***** be kind enough to rate my service to you after we have concluded our dialogue, such feedback helps me maintain the quality of my answers.
