Customer Question

I have a boxer who is almost 2. Friday when I came home she came inside with the other dogs but was shivering/shaking. She stopped after a short while. But has been laying around since then. She hasn't really eaten and drank a tone of water at one time then threw it up. She doesn't act like she's in pain, however when she does get up she starts panting. We don't have anything in the yard she could have gotten into. And my other 3 dogs are fine. We feed them 4Health dog food. She also eats a tone of grass when she goes outside. She hasn't eaten any since Friday and I been keeping her inside. I thought maybe it was from the heat. They have shade and a fan and plenty of water. But she still has been acting like she just doesn't feel good.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.
Any retching, gagging, lip licking, or vomiting?
Ha she drank anything? Can she keep water down?
Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?
If you press on her belly, does she have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?
Any chance she could have eaten something she should not have (ie bones, toys, rocks, plants, chemicals, etc)?
Has she had any diarrhea?
