Sluggo brand is the safe alternative to snail baits that contain the neurotoxin metaldehyde. Neither the iron nor spinosad in Sluggo are expected to cause any more than minor gastrointestinal distress - inappetence, vomiting and or diarrhea - when our dogs ingest it. There's nothing you need to do. Inducing emesis isn't indicated. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
