Hello I am sorry to hear you are worried about your Pug. I am a veterinarian, and will do my best to help. Strokes are not common in dogs, but they do happen. The signs depend on where the stroke (blood clot) occurs. You can see breathing problems, weakness in one or more of the legs, blindness, seizures, confusion, change in behavior, many things depending on what part of the body or brain or spinal cord is affected. Many dogs that suffer stroke have high blood pressure so if you think Molly has had a stroke, I would get her blood pressure checked, and if it is high, start her on blood pressure medication to prevent another. What is she doing to make you suspect stroke?

Hi Aldonna,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Molly. How is everything going?
