Hi, this is Dr. Gabby. It should not be a problem. The apply seeds do contain toxic cyanide but he would have to grind the seeds up, and eat about 1/2 cup of ground up seeds, before you need to worry. So one apply will not hurt him. My own dogs like apples.He may get an upset stomach from the apple. Especially if he has a sensitive stomach. If that happens, you can give him a stomach acid reducer like Pepcid AC or Zantac.
