my dog ate a rabbit head yesterday and was limping last night and now seems to have a hard time walking or standing up

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. I don't see a correlation between ingesting a rabbit head and lameness/difficulty walking or standing. Those are symptoms of musculoskeletal or spinal pain. I would suspect spinal pain - perhaps in association with intervertebral disk disease (a "slipped disk") or hip pain in association with hip dysplasia but a thorough physical exam is necessary in order to localize where the pain is originating. Until Sassy can be attended to by her vet, you can administer aspirin at 10 mg/lb with food twice daily. Sassy should be kept as quiet as possible in order to minimize the risk of her hurting herself further. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
