Our 7 month old Lab/ Pyrenees mix suddenly started violently

Customer Question

Our 7 month old Lab/ Pyrenees mix suddenly started violently shaking his head and tilting it to one side. We came up to me crying and he's really upset. Before he started shaking his head he was running around and playing with the cat. We're not sure what's wrong

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.
Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner. If you would still like assistance, can you tell me:
Can you see any redness, discharge or changes affecting his ears (especially the one tilted down)?
Is the ear sore?
Any wounds on the face, eye or ears (since he was playing with the cat)?
Can you take a breathing rate for me (just count his breaths for 10 seconds + multiply by 6)?
Are his gums pink or pale/white?
Can he walk normally or is he wobbly or collapsing?
