i just accidently fed my dog a thyroid medicine meant for my other dog,any problems from this?

Hello and thank you for asking your question. My name isXXXXX will try to help.

How much does Buddy weigh? How many mg was the thyroid medicine?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Buddy weighs 100 to 120 pounds the dosage was0.8mg

Thank you,

No that should not be a problem at all.

As long as it does not happen on a regular basis.

This is a common problem as the thyroid pill is usually in a treat and another pet in the household steals the treat.

I would not expect any problems from Buddy's one time ingestion of a dose that is under the recommended dose for his weight.

I hope this helps.
