1- Did she eat the wrapping paper?

Yes, she ate most of the wrapping of the individually wrapped kisses..

Mike, the good news is that milk chocolate is the most forgiving chocolate as it the least toxic. So, a 40 lbs dog would need around 16 ounces (1 pound) of milk chocolate for toxicity to occur. A handful of kisses will not be toxic for your dog. As far as the wrapping paper, she should be able to pass that as well in the stool. What you can do is change her diet to rice (75%) and boiled boneless chicken or ground beef (25%) for 3-5 days, the rice will help her pass the wrapping paper in the stool. She will be fine.

Hope the above helps, if you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.
