Was he doing any limping before he vomited?

Initially for the first feeding I would only feed a 1/4 cup and if that goes well, feed another 1/4 cup a few hours later.
At night then give your normal amount and continue on Tuesday with 1 cup in the am and pm.
I hope he feels better tomorrow!

Tonight my dog (9 year old maltipoo, male, healthy medical
Tonight my dog (9 year old maltipoo, male, healthy medical history, up to date with his vaccines) suddenly seems to be in discomfort. It started out of nowhere. He was on the couch, and then seemed to be scared/possibly in pain. He came to me but couldn't get comfortable, and eventually lay down. I went to see what was going on, and at first I thought his heart was beating very fast/hard, but it ended up being his hind legs/lower body was shaking slightly. After a few minutes this stopped and he seemed to relax somewhat. Then, he heard something outside, jumped off the couch to go bark at it... but returned almost immediately and the shaking/trembling in the lower half of his body had started again. He again found a more comfortable position and it went away within minutes. It happened on more time. This time he was walking around, but doing so slowly. There were a couple of moments where it looked like one of his legs was weak/giving out on him, but he caught himself. I went to check him and when I put slight pressure on one of his legs he growled slightly at me (very unlike him) and rushed off to lay down and sure enough the shaking/trembling had started again. And again within minutes it stopped. But he seems so scared that it will start again. :( … read more
