Hello, I'm Dr. Bob.
The dose of aspirin in a dog weighing 18 pounds would be one half adult or two baby (low dose) aspirins given with a snack or small meal every 6 - 8 hours.
If you should have further questions, please let me know.

So the dose is approximately 10 mgs per lb?
Expert:  Dr. Bob replied 6 years ago.
There is actually a dose range for aspirin in dogs of 5 to 15 mgs per pound. The dose I gave you was in the middle of the range.
