My dog ate some of the contents of a hanging damp rid bag, what do I need to do to treat this or should he be OK?

Thanks for using, I'm Dr. Dan and I'll try to help you.

This is not overly toxic itself but it is irritating to the stomach lining. If the stomach lining is too irritated it can cause significant vomiting and possibly diarrhea. I would expect some vomiting to develop and it's nothing to worry about. If however your pooch vomits so hard he becomes lethargic or vomits up blood, then it's time to see the vet to get the vomiting stopped and start on intestinal protectants.

Otherwise he should be fine.
I hope this helps, best wishes.
