Hi, this is Dr. Elaine

Is Chloe seeming uncomfortable?

Is it big enough to affect her walking?

Can you see any red spot or puncture?

Is it seeping?

Thank you and I will pay more if I need to I have never used this service before so I was a little gun shy.

Uncomfortable no. Swimming like normal. But Chloe never shows pain, once went thru a window and sliced her throat 2 inches and came back wagging her tail and wanting a treat.

Walking fine. Same as above

No puncture, not red.

Seeping? Meaning sagging? It is in the inside top right hind lag, hangs downs, which is how I noticed it. I am sure it was not there this morning she gets a full belly rub every morning, I just got home and noticed it the minute I walked in, its about the size of a tennis ball.

Hi are you still there? I got a message you needed more answers, but I could find where you asked anything else, then I got a message that my question was being asked to others. Just curious trying to figure out this site. Thanks

Sorry--my fault--a 3year old at home and computer blue screen--all at onceWink. I got the response to my questions just as all h*^% broke loose. My apologies again.

From what you describe, this could certainly be secondary to trauma. As long as she is happy and comfortable, showing no abnormal behaviors, she should be fine to wait.

If that changes, at least call the emergency clinic.

Most likely your veterinarian can draw some fluid out of it to get a better idea of what is going on and how best to address it.

Sorry for the interruption and confusion. Things usually go quite smoothly around hereWink.

Please let me know if I can help further,

Kindly,

Dr. Elaine
