Hi, I am Dr. Peter and would like to help.

1- How much does your dog weigh?

2- How long since he ingested the pills?

3- Do you have hydrogen peroxide?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 8 years ago
1) 24kg

2) Between 5:30 and now

3) Don't know, but I can get some.

4) Wife just got home - the bubble-pac of pills was NOT full. Most likely ate 1 - 4 pills.
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Peter, Veterinarian replied 8 years ago

If it has been more than half hour, the pill may have been absorbed. You can try making him vomit just in case if it was within half hour. Give him 3 ounces of hydrogen peroxide, move his belly and let him walk for a minute. If he does not vomit in 5 minutes repeat it again. Do not give a 3rd time. If he does not vomit the pills, consider taking him to ER vet to be monitored for tachycardia (increase heart rate) and hypertension (increase blood pressure).

If you have additional questions I will be glad to answer them.

Apprecite your advice! Now that we've calmed down a bit and looked at the bubble pack more closely, it is apparent that a human finger had released all pills except 1 or 2. You know by looking at each bubble how a typically consumed bubble would look like. This is a relief! Well, thanks again..
