Resolved Question:

A small portion of my dog's lip is discolored, from black to pink. Just a small portion. No swelling or abrasions. Should I be concerned? What is it?

Sometimes a dog can have some pigment changes with maturity. The lips are a common area to see this. As long as there is no swelling, irritation, or ulceration of the area, I would recommend just keeping an eye on it.

I hope this has been helpful
