Is the dog able to drink and keep water down?

He is able to keep water down and has no diarrhea. He is also lethargic and slow in moving around.
Pepcid AC can be used at 5 mg per 20 pounds body weight every 24 hours. Pepto Bismal can be used at 1 tablespoon per 20 pounds body weight every 8 hours as needed to coat the stomach. A bland diet of boiled chicken and rice, no bones, can be offered in small frequent meals. In a dog this age there could many serious things going on. If the dog does not perk up quickly he should be examined by your vet.
