1. I am not aware of any toxicity issues concerning ingestion of olives in dogs so there is no problem from that angle and eating just one should not precipitate a gastro-enteritis.

2. Of course the pit will not be digested but a small object like that should pass through your dog's digestive tract without problem.

It would be wise to keep an eye on your dog and consult your vet if any odd symptoms arise but I would be very surprised if this proves necessary.
