My dog just ate a miniature Reese's peanut butter cup. She is a miniature Daschund about 8 pounds and 3 years old. Should I be worried, is there something that I need to do?
Hi there and welcome to Justanswer.

the toxic dose of chocolate is 1 ounce per pound of your dogs weight so this will probably not cause her any harm except for a minor digestive upset. To be safe , however, give your gal 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide by mouth. This will induce vomiting and remove this candy from her system. If she has not vomited in 10 minutes, do it again.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays!!
