What is the dosage of Tylan for dogs?

Tylan dosage for dogs. On, it says the dosage of tylan powder for dogs is 5-10 mg per lb, twice a day. Can you tell me how many mg per teaspoon?

HI there Alan and welcome to Justanswer!

The dose for a dog is 5-10 mg per pound every 12 hrs. as you already know. 1 teaspoon has 2.7 gm of the drug. Figure out your dog's weight and then decide how many teaspoons your dog will need.

Remember, however, that this medication is prescribed and should be used under the direct supervision of your vet.
