A good rule of thumb for dosing Penicillin, at this concentration, is 1cc per 10 pounds. Guessing at a standard lab weight to be about 60 pounds, I would give 6cc once daily for 7 days. This can be given either in the muscle or under the skin. In the muscle is more painful and he is more likely to fight you after a couple of days. Under the skin simply takes a little longer for absorption. Either route is equally effective.
