Hello there,

What type of oysters? Raw, fried?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Expert:  Dr. Scott replied 7 years ago.
Fried anything is very bad for dogs. The fat and oil can cause pancreatitis in dogs very easily. Severe pancreatitis can be fatal.

the oysters wern't fried they were steamed

Steamed oysters shroud not case a problem as long as the dog is not allergic to them. Any food in excess can cause diarrhea.
