how can I tell if my dog has a concussion? (he is a terrier that raced up 3 stair steps & fell back down & I don't know what part of his body he landed on)
Hi and thanks for your question!

I have a few questions for you about your dog:

Is he able to walk ok?
Do his pupils of his eyes look equal size?
Are his gums pink, pale pink or white?

yes, his gums are pink, he is able to walk ok, his pupils look similar, pupils look similar in size.
OK, thanks.

Given that information it doesn't sound like we have too much to be worried about.

Usually with a head injury we will see some incoordination, possibly a difference in pupil size and the gums are often pale.

It's a good idea to keep an eye on him but it doesn't sound like you need to be worried.

I hope this information helps! If you have more questions regarding this problem, just hit reply. If I am online I will respond right away. Otherwise I will respond as soon as I come online again. Or, if my answer is sufficient, then please hit accept. Thanks!
