Hello my name is ***** ***** welcome to just answers! I will be assisting you with all of your vehicle questions today. Give me one moment while I review your question and come back with a answer. Please be aware I do not know your skill level or abilities so I will be asking a lot of questions and in a lot of cases we will respond to each other quite a lot before we find a solution. As far as phone calls are concerned that is the system prompting you, not me, and they do cost more money, I prefer text but in some cases a phone call is required. If I don’t answer right away or quickly in conversation I am helping another customer or have stepped out for a moment and will respond as soon as I can. Ok lets get started!

Is there a check engine light on?

no
Dodge Mechanic: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

usually this problem lies within the ABS and HCU unit, there could be a piece of something stuck in the HCU allowing fluid to pass though but not return. I would pull it part separate the HCU from the abs and inspect all the valving to make sure nothing is stuck

could it be a bad hose?
Dodge Mechanic: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

It could but I havent seen a lot those on that or really modern brake hoses failing and causing these issues, you may want to try swapping side to side to see if it changes that would rule that out

hows it coming?

Ask Your Own Dodge Question

Took to a brake place and it was the flex hose from the caliper
Dodge Mechanic: Mechanic01, ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

oh thats good, dont see that a lot, glad everything is fixed now

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Customer satisfaction is my number one goal. I would like to receive nothing less than a 5 star rating. If you feel we aren’t there yet please let me know or respond more so we can get the answer you feel is correct. You can do this rating at the box on the upper right hand corner. This will not close our chat session and at no extra charge we will still be able to talk about any other issues you may have for free! Providing a rating is the only way I will receive credit for my work with you. Negative ratings do not result in a refund so If you’re not satisfied with the work we have done so far please respond more and let’s get your question figured out. If you would like also please add me as your favorite mechanic so I can help you in the future. Thanks Shawn!

What Customers are Saying:

I AM VERY GLAD THAT I TOOK A CHANCE ON YOUR PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP. MY TRUCK RUNS LIKE A CLOCK. IT RUNS LIKE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. NO LUNGING FORWARD, THE TURBO REACTS THE SECOND I STOMP ON THE GAS, AND IT HAS A LOT MORE POWER AND EVEN SOUNDS BETTER TO ME. IT SAVED ABOUT $500.00 BY DOING THE WORK MYSELF. I GIVE YOU ALL THE CREDIT FOR YOUR DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, JUST FROM THE SYMPTONS I GAVE YOU OVER THE e MAIL. I WILL USE YOUR WEB SITE AGAIN AND REFER MY FRIENDS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP.
