I'm assuming you went through and bleed every wheel? Did you have good fluid flow at each wheel?

We just change their cilinder brake master again
Dodge Mechanic: Dan, Technician replied 6 months ago

And you did bleed out every wheel? Did each wheel have a good amount of brake fluid coming through it without air?

Ask Your Own Dodge Question
Dodge Mechanic: Dan, Technician replied 6 months ago

I'll open question back up to see if someone else has ideas. If every wheel seems to be pushing out fluid how it is supposed to then I'd replace the brake booster but that usually causes a stiff pedal not spongy.

HI,

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it?

If you pump the pedal several times quickly, do you get a firmer pedal for a bit before it gets spongy again?

HI,

Yes to both bench bleeding the master as well as pumping the pedal quickly several times will give a firmer pedal temporarily?

What Customers are Saying:

I AM VERY GLAD THAT I TOOK A CHANCE ON YOUR PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN REPLACING THE FUEL PUMP. MY TRUCK RUNS LIKE A CLOCK. IT RUNS LIKE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. NO LUNGING FORWARD, THE TURBO REACTS THE SECOND I STOMP ON THE GAS, AND IT HAS A LOT MORE POWER AND EVEN SOUNDS BETTER TO ME. IT SAVED ABOUT $500.00 BY DOING THE WORK MYSELF. I GIVE YOU ALL THE CREDIT FOR YOUR DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, JUST FROM THE SYMPTONS I GAVE YOU OVER THE e MAIL. I WILL USE YOUR WEB SITE AGAIN AND REFER MY FRIENDS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP.
