Blower motor doesn't blow...

Blower motor doesn't blow unless you kick under the glove box, if you adjust the temp blower changes speed. Has stopped coming through defrost on driver's side. Have replaced control panel, blower motor resistor. Doesn't blow on on all flow directions. Has an antifreeze smell when is working, have replaced a.c. evaporator& heater core.

Hey how are you,I will try to help you with this issue

usually for this issue you will need a blow motor or blower motor resistor ,but we need to test

take glove box to get to blower motor and blower motor resistor ,click on link to view pdf file for procedure

inspect the connector on both for any evidence of burned pins, wire, backed out pins, wiggle the wires at motor and resistor with switch on and heater fan on, does it come , take blower out ,inspect the blower motor blades for dust causing to get stuck , if all looks good and have power to blower motor then replace it ,in some cases the connector needs changed if bad

Would think cause the air flow to stop working on the driver's side defrost & the antifreeze smell when I can get the blower to work?

I have replaced the resistor twice in the past 5 months.

Well if we have evaporator core leaking on the connection that is possibility, is the floor mats ,carpet we under glove box ,do you have good heat

Doesn't look like it has gotten wet. Replaced evaporator when heater core was replaced in July.

Check at blower motor connector when it is not running ,do you have power and work yourself back toward resistor then towards dash control , u loosing it somewhere in that path
