Hello my name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you with all of your vehicle questions today. Give me one moment while I review your question and come back with a answer. Please be aware I do not know your skill level or abilities so I will be asking a lot of questions and in a lot of cases we will respond to each other quite a lot before we find a solution. As far as phone calls are concerned that is the system prompting you, not me, and they do cost more money, I prefer text but in some cases a phone call is required
If no debris clear codes install new filter and test drive to see what codes return
ohhhhh bummer, well this chat will stay open for a few weeks, let me know what you come up with ill be working all weekend,
no prob! we will figure this thing out !
so it dosent move at all?
sounds like bad clutches, did you erase all the codes ?
do that and hold the cables together for a min or so reconnect and see what she does, when you crank up there should be no codes
until you start shifting
ok I have to call it quits for the night my brain is going to explode, can I get back with you tomorrow on this ?
You can try it but I dont think its going to fix anything, the reason that code is coming up is the switch is detecting low pressure in the trans case from what I believe is some sort of failure could the solenoid pack or other issues, try these tests and see what you come up with
1. Unplug the Black/Green (C4) connector from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
2. Check the resistance between the Yellow/White wire at pin 21 and the Yellow/Orange wire at pin 19 in the PCM connector. It should be about 300 ohms.
3. Remove the transmission relay.
4. Jumper terminals 30 to 87 at the transmission relay and check for B+ on the Yellow/White wire at pin 21.
Sounds good ill be around, my brain is working today lol
yesterday all I got for 10 hours straight were complicated electrical problems and the info to fix them were hidden deep down in my system and by the time you came online my head was about to bust lol, good nights sleep and some good breakfast did the trick. ill be on all day though so take your time and we can figure this out today
Yeah no worries if not today, tomorrow, I guarantee the problem will still be there
is the connector just green?
if there is a green one thats it
just 12v on the wire
ok everythings working ok so the next step is to replace the trans solenoid pack, when you did the filter did you do the sump filter too?
thats good, thats what you want, everything checks out, so it looks like your looking at a solenoid pack, but before you spend the money on that this pack only fixes a hand full of trans, most have internal damage and need a rebuild.
you can get it from summit for 150
heres a video on replacement,
sure thing! let me know what happens
I was afraid of that, from the other codes you got made it seem like there was more internal damage, looks like you need a full rebuild or replacement,
COuld be a bad connection or bad pack,
those connectors at the trans are known to have a ton of problems
sure thing! I wish you the best, ***** ***** to text me back if you have any more questions and also dont forget a good rating before you go
