Customer Question

I put Napa belt on my dodge 3500 with out ac they say it's right belt but it's to long not for sure I'm routing it right they gave me a page of diagrams I don't know which one to use it's 09 cummins 6.7
JA: Which belt is acting up? And when was it last changed?
Customer: Seep belt only one it broke water pump locked up
JA: What year is your B3500?
Customer: It's not it's Ram 3500 it's 2009
JA: Are you fixing your B3500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I just need the right belt length for my 2009 Dodge Ram with 6.7 that I'm deleting ac unit on
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope

Same diagrams I already have need belt length
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

I don't have belt length but I can give you part number for belt you need.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Ok that will help
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

From what I see the length should be 110.22 inches. The OEM part number is ***** and Napa part number should be 25081102

That's the one I have it's to long
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Can you send a few pictures of how you have it routed? I'm guessing it is wrong.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I don't know how to send pic of that but it's routed like first diagram you sent
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

It should be like 2nd picture in diagram. It is either routed wrong or belt is wrong, I'm guessing more likely routed wrong. There should be a paperclip icon you can use to upload photos.

Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Here is the diagram you should be looking at.

That's the way I have it routed I researched on inet the say belt is for motor made without ac to start with so it is diff size when you just want to bypass one with ac
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

You can't bypass the AC with a shorter belt due to the design of the tensioner, you will need to replace compressor or get a bypass pulley to install where compressor goes. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.

And here are instructions to replace, please do not forget to rate answer. Thanks.
