You really don't want to know. I'm about to pour gas on it

Customer Question

You really don't want to know. I'm about to pour gas on it and set it on fire and go back to chevy......
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: Nope. Air suspension problems on a 2013 gemi sport
JA: What is the model of your '13 Dodge?
Customer: 1500
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've tried everything . I have to fix it myself. I work in the oilfields of west Texas. There is no one to take it to and I don't have time for this.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The front end will not raise. Acts like it in in protection mode.

Hello, my name is***** you give me a full description of what is going on with the vehicle. Is it constant?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Oh yea..... I was on a rig lease road and lost all the nitrogen in the system.
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I refilled the system with nitrogen, repaired the leaks, now the font end bottoms out while the rear is in off road 2
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It goes so far down on front that the arms on the height sensors pop off
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The rear is maxed out on height. Warning says to service sir suspension
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

Did the rear of the vehicle go up high as soon as the rear dropped.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have jacked up the front and rear and filled the front air bags manually, lowered the front and it bottomed out
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

Sorry. I meant did the rear go up high as soon as the front dropped?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The rear raised normally when I put all 4 tires back on the ground
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have filled each bag manually from the LR LF RR RF connection
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Bought a chiltons.... that was a waste. No mention of sir suspension
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
After filling front bottoms out like protection mode. Pressed the up and down simultaneously for 5 sec then drove it over 25mph...... no change
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I can't go down these lease roads with no suspension
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Do you have any input?
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

Give me a second. Thank you

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Like I said... im about to set this thing on fire and walk away
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
K
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
This will be my second time using you guys..... first time the guy was a bonehead..... no pressure
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have had more problems with this truck than I have ever had on a drilling rig
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I really hope your not reading on this.....ive done that
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

Unfortunately I would have not chosen this suspension system for what you do. I am sure you have heard that before though. I have one other question. When you fill it manually, how long does it lat before it changes?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Instantly the front end drops the rear is still elevated and I can find no leaks
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

Does that occur as soon as you start it or even before you start it?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Before. However last night it did raise and lower one time like moral then back to this dragster look
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
No blown fuses throughout this process. I know now not this truck. Had the 6.7 2500. But 1000 bucks a month wss ridiculous
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
The coil springs and the Cummins was nice though
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

Unfortunately this is typically always a bad valve block compressor assembly. It sounds like there are multiple sticking valves in it. I have had to change these more than anything else on this vehicle. In some cases you can replace the valve body but I always replace both as metal gets drawn into the system from the compressor failing.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
replace the valve body and compressor. One more question ...... where does the nitrogen go. I fill it and can't find any leaks
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

If you cannot find leaks then it is leaking out of the exhaust lines for the system or moving through the other air springs or through the compressor. They are not isolating correctly.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Gotcha
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Thx
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I just walked out to the shop and it has raised part way
Expert:  Fix_It_Man replied 2 months ago.

It may fix itself if it gets anything in there worked out, but it should be faster.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Thx again
