2004 Durango SLT, It does not start. It will crank and

Customer Question

2004 Durango SLT
JA: Are you fixing your Durango yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It does not start. It will crank and crank...occasionally act like it wants to start for a moment, but does not seem to catch. I think it's not getting fuel, but to pull the fuel pump is a fairly difficult task since the whole fuel tank needs to be dropped. Any ideas ?
JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working?
Customer: Didn't think of the plugs. Will do that. Since it's fuel injected, I don't know how to check the fuel supply. I will check the repair manual to figure out how.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No...except that I'm old-school and I have only worked with carborators

Have you checked for spark or fuel delivery when cranking?

Are there any codes in the computer?
